Custom designed and built for a couple who wanted to simplify and downsize their own residence. This created the ability to rent out the main house on the property, creating an income stream. A focus on comfort and indoor air quality lead to a well-insulated and air sealed building envelope and use of a whole-house heat recovery ventilation system. Minimalist design and concrete slab floors are accented by warm fir doors and trim.
