Modern 1.5-story new detached ADU
An old, dilapidated garage was removed and replaced with this clean new ADU. Intended to be an affordable long-term rental unit in the heart of the inner East side, these clients were able to squeeze in a lot of home for the money. Through intelligent use of materials for finishes (concrete and finished plywood flooring), and an open and easy to construct design, we were able to create another healthy, comfortable and efficient home.
